Scholarship and Busary

The difference between a Scholarship and a Bursary

A scholarship is a grant or payment made to support a student's education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievement.

A bursary is a monetary award made by an institution, person or organization to individuals or groups of people who cannot afford to pay full fees. In return for the bursary the individual may (be obligated to) work at the institution for the duration as the bursary.
